Day 4 – Tortola
December 5, 2007
Day Four
Another lovely day on vacation.  We spent the morning aboard the ship. At lunch time we docked in Tortola BVI.  We had a quick nap then headed out to explore. Rhode Town is not geared towards tourists. It is a mix of run down buildings and some nice looking colonial type of buildings. There were a lot of cars out and about, and I must say a lot of NICE cars.  It seemed all the locals were in cars stuck in traffic, and all the tourists were walking around.  There wasn’t much to see. We did spend a bit of time in front of a nice building that had a mini park.  We saw a few wild chickens, and got R a 2 headed doll. It sounds much worse than it is, the doll reverses, if you pull the full skirt the opposite way, a different doll appears, with a different skirt. She loves it.Â

After a delightful swim with daddy, in which she played with some other kids, we had a BBQ on the pool deck. Once again we are super tired, and it is only 8:30… Another busy day ahead tomorrow!
