3 generations go to the Spa

Cute toes eh? Well had a very special trip to the nail salon, R, me and grandma even came! Grandma had never been to one, neither had R, and I must admit it was only my second pedicure ever! R got these super cute designs on her toes, and stars on her hands over electric blue polish! Grandma and I stayed safe with just a plain topcoat on our hands, and something very subtle on our toes. Fun times.
Hockey??
Posted by ahechtenns On December 17, 2011
We went to get a new pair of “pre-owned” skates. While we were waiting for them to be sharpened, R decided to try on some pink hockey gloves….next she decided to get herself a stick….then a ball….then she decided that her little brother should have a stick too… (oh she tried to get him to wear gloves but they were all just too big)…and voila, my kids had a little hockey game while we waited!

R decided to set up a picnic in the morning for her and J. Best way to have a winter picnic I say, inside!

Decorating the tree

Well we finally got around to decorating the tree. We got it already last weekend, in the pouring rain I might add, but it has been sitting all week waiting for decorating.

Advent Calenders

It’s that time of the year. Oma and Opa are always gracious and give all their grandkids advent calenders. My kids enjoy them!
R really can be helpful when she wants…
ank-you
Posted by ahechtenns On November 25, 2011
Today was a another first for J. I handed him a ‘nack’ (snack) and he said ‘ank-you’ without being prompted!! Whoohoo!! Made me smile. Yesterday he also started using the word ‘run’. It’s quite hilarious that when you ask him to run, he says ‘la’ (for yeah), and walks off. Well, we need to work on his speed!
